In most countries, in the world, wind and solar power are now the lowest new resources of electrical energy. But despite this extraordinary reason, significant barriers to greening up our energy system remain.
Even as elections consistently find high public support for renewable resources, many people still do not want these projects in their neighbourhoods. Wind and solar projects take up much more space than our current power plants.
