Net Zero by 2050

October 31st to 12th November UN will host the COP26. The focus of Cop26 is to agree on how to achieve the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 C above pre-industrial levels. The Paris Accords set that goal at limiting global warming to 1.5 C above pre-industrial levels.

In order to achieve this outcome goal, the consensus is that we need to achieve the primary goal of net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050.

Shallow dive: It is time to come with real action plans for the planet, and then start implementing them on a local level. The hope is a slim hope that we as humans will overcome all our biases towards each other and actually agree on a plan for the planet.
