October 31st to 12th November UN will host the COP26. The focus of Cop26 is to agree on how to achieve the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 C above pre-industrial levels. The Paris Accords set that goal at limiting global warming to 1.5 C above pre-industrial levels.
In order to achieve this outcome goal, the consensus is that we need to achieve the primary goal of net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050.
Shallow dive: It is time to come with real action plans for the planet, and then start implementing them on a local level. The hope is a slim hope that we as humans will overcome all our biases towards each other and actually agree on a plan for the planet.
